The Two Frogs (Folktales)

         

             Once upon a time in the country of Japan there lived two frogs, one of whom made his home in a ditch near the town of Osaka, on the sea coast, while the other dwelt in a clear little stream which ran through the city of Kyoto. At such a great distance apart, they had never even heard of each other; but, funnily enough, the idea came into both their heads at once that they should like to see a little of the world, and the frog who lived at Kyoto wanted to visit Osaka, and the frog who lived at Osaka wished to go to Kyoto, where the great Mikado had his palace.

             So one fine morning in the spring they both set out along the road that led from Kyoto to Osaka, one from one end and the other from the other. The journey was more tiring than they expected, for they did not know much about traveling, and halfway between the two towns there arose a mountain which had to be climbed. It took them a long time and a great many hops to reach the top, but there they were at last, and what was the surprise of each to see another frog before him!

                They looked at each other for a moment without speaking, and then fell into conversation, explaining the cause of their meeting so far from their homes. It was delightful to find that they both felt the same wish--to learn a little more of their native country--and as there was no sort of hurry they stretched themselves out in a cool, damp place, and agreed that they would have a good rest before they parted to go their ways.

              "What a pity we are not bigger," said the Osaka frog; "for then we could see both towns from here, and tell if it is worth our while going on."

              "Oh, that is easily managed," returned the Kyoto frog. "We have only got to stand up on our hind legs, and hold onto each other, and then we can each look at the town he is traveling to."

This idea pleased the Osaka frog so much that he at once jumped up and put his front paws on the shoulder of his friend, who had risen also. 

             There they both stood, stretching themselves as high as they could, and holding each other tightly, so that they might not fall down. The Kyoto frog turned his nose towards Osaka, and the Osaka frog turned his nose towards Kyoto; but the foolish things forgot that when they stood up their great eyes lay in the backs of their heads, and that though their noses might point to the places to which they wanted to go, their eyes beheld the places from which they had come.

"Dear me!" cried the Osaka frog, "Kyoto is exactly like Osaka. It is certainly not worth such a long journey. I shall go home!"

                    "If I had had any idea that Osaka was only a copy of Kyoto I should never have traveled all this way," exclaimed the frog from Kyoto, and as he spoke he took his hands from his friend's shoulders, and they both fell down on the grass. Then they took a polite farewell of each other, and set off for home again, and to the end of their lives they believed that Osaka and Kyoto, which are as different to look at as two towns can be, were as alike as two peas.

MATSWAPATI

            Hello GUYS!! ITS ME!! RYAN!!! ok...now im gonna tell 'ya bout something...well its something i had to do for this subject and i cant deny it or else i'll get some short semester...now im gonna tell you about my curtural festival, well its not exactly my festival though, its just a festival held by the school of mine, anyway...Matswapati is a festival held by my school. Matswapati took  place in Saturday, September 27th 2014 on Bali Field, Bali Street. 

      The festival is started at 10:30 although we have to come at 06.00 because we got a stand that we should taken care of and we weren't done to decorating it. The stand's theme is ARJUNA. One of Javanese's wayang characters. Well we have some unique theme then we should have a unique mascot too, the mascot was my friend Davy, and ofcourse he dressed like ARJUNA. 

        Before the festival began, we had a parade in order to advertist Matswapati to peoples,we started at Bali Street then Bandung Indah Plaza (BIP) then Bali Street. It was fun but sadly we didn't win the competition that the most attractive class won 1M Rupiah!!. A big prize for us. After the parade, we watch some culture shows (Kuda Renggong) in Bali Street that was scary enough to see, we entered the Bali Field at 10 o'clock, and in next 1 hours the gate will open for public!! We are very excited about it!
     Well we entered Bali Field to continue our stand's decoration, we weren't allowed to sell foods ,because it'll disturb the outer stands, so we have some ideas, it was to sell some postcard,doorprize,photo booth and IQ tests.

              The rundown of Matswapati was full of cultural things. The first performance was traditional dancing, wayang, then martial arts. Its time for  3 senior high school performances that were KPA3, T’ST, MK3, etc. My favorite one is MK3, because it was entertaining, even the weather so hot but i still enjoyed it! Well when the weather was so hot...i got thirsty so much and i spent too much money just for drinks.

    Then i enjoyed the others performance with my friends, well i also tried many classes's stand too haha. i stay there till the last performance, it was Glenn Fredly's. We gotta wait for him to come for a long thime though because he got a traffic jam, but still when he came to the stage, the peoples welcome him greatly, and i got back home at 9pm...i was really tired so i rush myself threw myself to the bed!

My Friend's Biography

       Hello guys its me Ujul, now im gonna introduce my friend Imam. His full is Imam Maulana Yosa. I usually call him Imam. But i thought it would be good to call him Yose. He was born in 6^th October 1999 in Bandung.He's part of 3 Bandung Senior High School now. His Junior High School is 1 Margahayu Junior High School. And his Elementary School is 5 Pasirmalang Junior High School. He live at East Pasirluyu.  He has one sister, her name

is Tiara Zaina Yosa. She is studying at 5 Pasirmalang Elementary School at 6^th grade. His parents live at Pangalengan with his sister. But their parents always visit Imam and his sister every weekend. But if they don’t, it'll be their turn visit them at Pangalengan.

   And now im gonna expose imam's daily activities *huehuehue

    His daily activities is normal like all students, but not really normal though, he usually wake up at 5am and come to school sometimes punctually and sometimes he's late, and when it comes to break time, we always go to bazaar together with davy and ilham, then in the second break we go to bazaar again to eat some food then we go salat dzuhur at mosque.

    Imam favourite subjects Math and Art, and he dont like physics, then when its titime to go home, its time for us to get separated *crying , haha he usually go home at 4pm, he's riding a bike, and usually he came home at 5pm and then he gotta take a bath and eat some dinner,then salat maghrib, after that its time for him to do some homework(if he still had to do it) and he sleeps at 22pm.

My Biograph

    Hello, my name is Muhammad Sulthan Ryan Ramdhani. Mostly everyone call me Sulthan, but some of them call me jul or sul or tan. But everyone in my family call me Ryan or Mas Ryan. I was Born on January, 11th  2000 Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. I have a younger brother, his name is Abhirama Putradanendra. He was born on December, 28th 2001. Now, he is a middle-highschooler. I stay with my family in Bandung at Komplek Taman Rafflesia number D15. 

   My mother is a housewife also a worker, her name is Detty Sari Resky and my father is an accountant manager, his name is Raden Achmad Sjam Ramdhani. I graduated from elementary school at year 2011. My elementary school is SDN SOKA 34. Then I spend my wonderful yet suck middle highschool for 3 years and graduated from middle school at year 2014. My middle school is SMPN 2  Bandung. And, now im a student  at SMA Negeri 3 Bandung.

   Now about myself, firstly height is 175 cm tall, I should say this is tall enough for a 14 years old boy. My weight is 64 kg. I have dark brown eyes, thick eyebrows,mid-long eyelashes, brown skin, and  short shaved-sides black hair. I'm moslem. And i have a lot of hobby, such as listening to music, drawing, watching tv, gaming, programming, playing guitar, etc. But the one I really likes is gaming and programming. I love playing guitar too. I think im good, I should say so. 

    I like watching tv about romance,action,and sci-fi or something related to anime or good movies, it's really entertaining, my favorite one is Fairy Tail. And I also love japanese culture. Then, my favorite games is Dark Souls, Ragnarok, DOTA 2, Point Blank,etc. But now I hardly playing games, because I don’t  have much time to do that. Also the food I love of course is steak especially Hamburger Steak and Blackpepper Steak, and my favorite drink is Milk. My Favorite subjects, there are English, Math, and Technology. 

    I also have one person that inspire me a lot. She is my mom. She’s always be there whenever Im sad or happy. She’s the strongest women I ever met. She always try to make me happy. I really love her than myself and I always do. In this world or in the other world, I’ll always love her no matter what.
